Sørli is a cotter’s place in Østmarka. It has been listed by the heritage offices because of its cultural and environmental values in Oslo.
The old farm will be converted into a visitor center with classrooms, mainly for young people and kids.
We kept the traditional hierarchy and layout of the Norwegian farm yard when we placed our two new buildings. The existing house and the area in front will serve as the arrival and meeting place for the visitors. The existing barns will be also renovated and used for animal husbandry.
